An excellent ladle of unleaded copper deserves careful handling and care. Before first use, it should be covered with one to two millimeters of fat and heated. Within a few minutes the smoke point is reached (do not wait until black smoke rises!), Then tip the oil away and wipe the copper pan with kitchen paper. Now it is operational and will be cleaned in the future only with paper. This creates a nice patina over time.

If you wash the pan with detergent, then you will need an oil treatment. Never put your precious copper pan in the dishwasher, you will have something of this high quality product all your life.

This frying pan is made entirely of copper and is not induction-compatible. Only the B'Chef series copper pans from Baumalu and the Prima Matera series from De Buyer are suitable for induction cookers.
